Friday night: S and O arrived at five and Niclas just after six. Windy but we decided to go for a twilight sail. Set sails outside middle head and then sailed to North head. Great wind and comfortable sailing in the sunset. Sun hazed by dust and smoke clouds. Back into Middle harbour and moored on a guest mooring at Chinamans beach.
Saturday: Woke up just before 7 and had breakfast in the boat. Haze in the morning. Left the mooring at 8.15 to go sailing. Set sail and went towards the city. Southerly winds around 20 knots gusting towards 25. Turned around by Shark Island and sailed North towards Manly to check out Quarantine station beach. Then headed across to Reef beach, very windy, Southerly gusting 30 knots, so headed back to Middle Head. Anchored up near Cobblers beach which was very calm. Lunch onboard and then back to MHYC for the night. Moored up in our spot. Drinks and dinner with Helen and Fredrik onboard then Niclas and Sanna joined the MHYC 80th celebrations in the bar for some dancing.
Sunday: Breakfast at the Sandbar (we ran out of water and wanted to eat before filling up). Spent some time with maintenance and then Oliver and Sanna went home whilst Niclas sailed with his Laser.
