Sunday 28 August: We arrived at the marina in the morning for a Sailing Breakfast Cruising talk, topic ‘how to use a multimeter’ – it was very good and interesting.

After the talk we prepared RaRa for a sail and left the marina at 12.00. Sunny and perfect NE winds and we sailed straight out through both middle head and north and south head. Once out on the ocean, we saw a whale playing around with its fin in the air. We were too far away to get a good photo, the big camera was not onboard, but we had a great look at the playful whale.
RaRa sails very well now with the new, feathering propeller that was fitted a month ago. No more vibrations when sailing and her boat speed is good. Sailed at a speed of 5-6 knots.
Back at the marina again just after 14.00, cleaned up and then we went home.
