Today we went for a visit to RaRa at the marina. A few things to do. Taking down the wind instrument was one thing and Sanna was hoisted up the mast to take it down.
Once up there, removed the wind instrument, and as soon as it was being put into the pocket of the chair, a piece (the attachment that screws onto the mast) fell off – it fell straight down onto the deck of Rara, only 15 meters down (and I got thinking…oops, I hope it is not too expensive as it will land in the water where it is 15 meters deep). The thing bounced high on the deck, across the water over the berth next to us (which was empty) then bounced on the arm between the boats and in under the cockpit cover of the next door boat – where it landed safely.
It later turned out that this thing was broken and needed replacing anyway.
