Friday 11 June; We arrived at the boat in the evening and had dinner onboard. Niclas and Sanna visited Sanctum and crew to hear about their trip to and from Tasmania.
Saturday 12 June: Weather was beautiful and we set off after breakfast. We headed north towards Pittwater and set sails as soon as we could. Had a glorious day at sea, saw a few whales in the distance.
Arrived at 16.00 and anchored in Morning Bay. Martyn and Anna arrived on Flo just after dark at about 18.15 and we later joined them for dinner onboard Flo.
Sunday 13 June: After a lovely but windy morning aboard we motored over to RMYC to meet up with Jeremy and Kristin onboard their new boat, Kai Rani. After a celebratory christening of the boat we had lunch at the club. In total we were 12 people who joined for lunch.
After lunch we set sail and sailed north on Pittwater together with Kai Rani and Flo in light winds. When we reached the Hawkesbury river the wind died down and we continued under motor to Americas Bay where we moored up for the night. Drinks onboard Kai Rani with RaRas dinghy as transport between the boats.
Monday 14 June: Flo set off early on their journey north towards Hamilton Island. RaRa crew assisted Kai Rani with some mast work before departing the bay. RaRa sailed south back to Sydney and had another lovely day on the ocean. More whales spotted this time, still all the tricks they did was in the distance. A few just swam by us closer.
The wind died down as we got closer to North Head and we motored through the heads and all the way to the marina.
