Thursday: Oliver wanted to go for a twilight sail on his birthday and we were lucky the weather obliged.
Arrived at the boat just before five and headed out straight away. After a rainy day the sun came out as we left home, but as we headed away from the marina we had a short burst of rain. 26 c but wet for about 10 minutes, then no more rain, perfect wind and sunshine.
We sailed south down the harbour and rounded Shark island before heading back to the marina. After having moored up after two hours of sailing we went to the skiff club and had dinner on the balcony overlooking RaRa and the finish of the twilight race.
Ended the evening with cake on the boat and the off home.
