Day 13: Kilaben Bay to Wyee point, 7/1
Some rain in the morning but we managed to have breakfast outside. Scattered rain throughout the day. We took the Jolle to Rathmine park, just a short ride away. We parked up and then walked into the little. Village. Found a lovely cafe, Jules by the lake which had amazing food. Afterwards we bought some food at the local butcher, baker and IGA.
Back onboard the sun came out. We also decided to stay in the lake until Saturday as the forecast for Friday at sea was not looking good.
In the afternoon, at 14.30, we set off and sailed south on the lake. Arrived at Wyee point just before 18.00 and found a lovely anchorage with shelter from the winds and only a few houses and boats around.

Day 14: Wyee Bay to north of Wangi Wangi, 8/1:
Rain overnight which cleared in time for breakfast. The sun came out on and off with the rain clouds circling around the lake. Oliver did some fishing and we pottered about on the boat. Oliver’s friend, Flynn came over with his dad James as they have a house just nearby. Oliver went home with them to stay there for a few days.

We motored off north to anchor closer to the canal as we plan to leave the lake tomorrow morning just after high tide at 07.00. Found a very calm anchorage at 6 m just north of Wangi Wangi. More houses and boats here.
