A sunny day and we set off on sail towards Hawkesbury river after breakfast. Strong northerly wind to start with and as we sailed further inland it got lighter. Anchored outside Dangar Island and after lunch onboard we took the dinghy to shore. Hard work to row against the tide.
There is a lovely little cafe just by the wharf and we had a coffee and ice cream there before heading back out to RaRa. Not hard work to get back.. just floated on the tide.
Sailed south back out to America’s bay where we moored up on the MHYC mooring again. Our anchor light stopped working last night and Sanna was hoisted up the mast to have a look but was not able to fix the problem.
Ended the day with a few swims in lovely water and then dinner in the cockpit as the sun went down. Another fantastic day on the boat.
