Friday 28 Feb: Niclas and Sanna went to Castlecrag Marina to pick RaRa up from having had work done. They completed the works and we headed for the 14.15 bridge opening. Back at MHYC and we headed home for the night.
Saturday 29 February: Back on the boat at 10 in preparations for two days on the water. Oliver’s 14th birthday party and Sunday lunch to celebrate a friends 40th.
Birthday Party: Ollies friends; Flynn, Marcus, Mathias and Lachlan came and we left the marina at 11.30. NE winds and we set sail outside Chinamans beach. Sailed east out through the heads and then back into the harbour and Quarantine station beach where we anchored for swim and lunch. The boys had fun with the ducky too. Sailed off the anchorage and back to MHYC with stronger winds. At MHYC 16.15 where the kids got dropped off
Saturday night: Stayed at the marina and had pizza dinner onboard. Flynn stayed for a sleepover and the kids had fun. Ended the evening with playing board games onboard. A beautiful evening for last day of summer 2020.
Sunday 1 March: First day of autumn – first day of heavy dew on the boat in the morning. Sunshine and a warm morning with breakfast at the Sandbar. Waiting for friends to arrive for a lunch cruise.
