Friday 17/1/2020
Arrived at the boat at 17.00. Unpacked and Niclas arrived 17.30. Left MHYC 17.50 and headed east. SE gusting 28 knots in the harbour. Set sails 18.10 outside Balmoral beach. Sailed to Berrys Bay and David’s pen. Windy with some rain that eased by the time we got the the Harbour bridge. Moored up nicely and sheltered. Dinner onboard and then a visit from David.
Saturday 18/1/2020
A rainy day with S winds – but fairly sheltered from the wind in the pen. We spent most of the day on (in) the boat. In the afternoon we walked up to Waverton station and picked up Oliver who had been to Lake Macquarie to stay with a friend. Back to the boat and left the mooring at 4.30 and sailed to the Quarantine station. Found a guest mooring and had dinner onboard followed by board games after when the rain started again.
Sunday 19/1
Breakfast onboard and then motored back to MHYC as Niclas had a working bee on Wailea booked. Oliver and Sanna stayed on the boat and did some clean up on the boat. Lunch at the club before the weekend of sailing was over.
