A weekend sailing Again

Friday 8 Nov – Sunday morning 10 Nov

We came to the boat late on Friday, unpacked, watched some tv and then slept at MHYC onboard.

Saturday; breakfast at the Sandbar. Left dock at 10 and sailed from Balmoral to the opera house. Motored under the Harbour bridge to Barry’s bay. A little too windy there with the W/SW winds. Anchored outside Balmain and had lunch. Sailed back to MHYC, up to 7.5 knots. Stopped briefly at MHYC and then under the 16.30 spit bridge opening.

Motored to Sugarloaf bay and moored up to Nishira. Tapas tie up with the cruising division. 7 boats in total. Entrees, main and dessert on different boats. Final row back to RaRa for sleep at 22.30. A great evening.

Lars, Belen and the kids arrived on their fishing boat and had lunch with us on RaRa. Oliver then went fishing with them. We went under the 16.30 bridge back to MHYC. Very windy when we parked.
