This is an important day, we’re having a surveyor checking everything is ok, and we also did a test sail 🙂
Overall there were no major issues discovered. A couple of things we will need to do in due course:

Princess in her chair
The main sail furls into the mast and hence the vertical battens
The wing keel is very nice, doesn’t go very deep

Before pressure washing it was very dirty…
skipper trying her out

Surveyor Mike doing his thing

Fridge with freezer (= ice cubes)

lovely gesture with chocolates on the bed
large bathroom with shower

Excited new owners to be
- Replace propeller shaft bearing
- Replace rudder bearing (1.8mm movement)
- Some small areas of osmosis to fix on the keel
- Tank level gauges not working
- Log sensor not working, probably needs a clean. There wasn’t a “blind” plug to put in, so the sensor is always in the water which isn’t great.
- Need a diver to clean the areas under the slings which the pressure washer couldn’t reach.
- Engine just serviced (injectors)
- We need new main and jib sheets as the existing ones are quite damaged by UV light.
- Gas certificate to be arranged and gas bottle connector to be replaced. (Andrew to organise before next Friday)
